David's Well
David’s Well is our partner organization in Panama. They are working to serve and reach the Ngöbe Bugle people, and indigenous Indian people who often live in isolated jungle regions of NW Panama. During the days of the conquistadors, the Ngöbe were the proud warriors of Panama; but decimated through war and disease, today they number less than 200,000 and typically live in poverty and without knowledge of Christ.
Since 1987, when David’s Well was begun in the town of David, Panama, they have planted over 150 Christian Churches. More than 10% of the Ngöbe have come to Christ as a result, and worship weekly in those churches.
Southeast will send a construction team to the village of Punta Cuaco, where a church will be built for Ngöbe believers; current and future believers. Your gift of $100 will be used to build this church, where God’s word will be shared and many will come to know and serve him.
