Blaine's Bio
Hi, I'm Blaine Conner. I'm currently a freshman in college, since I graduated high school early. I really enjoy spreading the Gospel and just serving Jesus. I currently work as an intern in Student Ministries at Southeast Christian Church. The Lord has called me to be a missionary, and this Panama trip is an incredible opportunity that He has blessed me with.
Trip Description
This will be the first team that Southeast Christian Church's youth group, SEROCKS has taken. The team will serve alongside the ministry of David's Well in Panama from July 13-21, 2012, through sports ministry and VBS, as well as a potential work project. The team is comprised of 16 individuals - five adults and eleven student leaders.
Mission Partner Description
Developmentally, David’s Well strives to equip, empower and release the Ngöbe to their full God-given potential. Some newly reached and isolated Ngöbe villages require extremely high levels of resources, while others have grown fully independent and are able to provide for their own needs and also reach out to help their neighbors. Many have gained marketable skills enabling them to care for the needs of their families. An example of this is seen by our short-term construction teams, which are now joined and led by Ngöbe carpenters that David’s Well staff have been able to identify and equip.
